Got ridiculous became background noise at some point. Stayed for the drama 😭 I absolutely love how energetic and expressive they are when they speak…the click sounds, the facial expressions, the whole language just feels so alive. And Essie? Definitely better women than me💀

Insanely good. Plot twist after plot twist. I haven’t read the book but now I will just to be shocked again 😂 Very sad about the ending. I knew he would turn out to be like his father, it’s just sad to see that it actually happened.

Great lessons about how polygamy and cheating mentally affects not just you but your partner, your partner’s family, your kids, your family, the person you cheated with and their kids (if any), and their family, and so many other people just because of 5 minutes of pleasure, being sly, and sneaky. (Most sex scenes I’ve ever seen in any series though) every single episode has worse decisions than the last.

Joyce seems to have the perfect marriage to wealthy CEO Jonasi until his secret wives, mistress, girlfriend, lies, and hidden families explode into the open. Every episode piles on betrayals, revenge, power plays, shocking twists, and nonstop drama as the women stop fighting each other and start exposing the man controlling them all. Businesses crumble, loyalties shift, families fracture, and murder hangs over everyone from the opening funeral. By the end, Jonasi’s empire collapses under the weight of his own choices, proving secrets always collect interest, and eventually the bill comes due.

I love me a south african show!! But this one did it for me! The acting, the language switching, the pain in the women’s heart!!! 9.5/10 from me 😘
