The Pendragon Cycle: Rise of the Merlin Reviews

I really liked it. Loved the Christian angle of it and the story and suspense was good.

Interesting take on Merlin. Just learned there are books. Now I must read those. I will tell you this starts out confusing af but it gets better. If you are fascinated with this legend it’s worth the watch.

Not your typical Merlin story. At the beginning it seemed weird, but ended up liking it!
Very nice sceneries too!

Not my favorite rendition of Merlin. But I did like the references relating to Roman influence. That is easily left behind in most accounts of the efforts to unify Britain. It gave a good portrayal of how difficult it was to try and bring individual tribes/kingdoms together.

i thought it was going to be a medieval fantasy, instead it was poorly disguised christian propaganda full of politics. 0/10

Nice photography, some action scenes, worth a try

Very slow, quite weird. Didn’t finish it, really hard to get into.
