The Odyssey

The special effects aren't the best, but that's normal for the time period; even so, I loved the movie!!

The best scenes were the two scenes where Hermes appeared 🤷🏻‍♀️

Literally couldn’t take it seriously because of the bad special effects and acting. Watched it in school and the entire class was laughing at the serious scenes because they were so bad…

A good retelling of Homer's epic. Assante's Odysseus stands out. The journey is a long, exhausting adventure. Every stop feels like another obstacle between him & home, while his pride repeatedly makes things worse. The practical effects are dated, but it's enjoyable.

Let me yell at Poseidon before my sea voyage home🤦🏻‍♀️ Hermes ex machina twice. Left out the sirens and Apollos cattle. End fight with the suitors is very satisfying👌🏻
