i really liked this show. i laughed, teared up, got frustrated, to say the least a range of emotions were felt while watching. season 4 was definitely the weakest and the ending was rushed but still a good show overall.

A classic show. Lifetime member of the Sandy Cohen fan club.

7/6/23 Just finished The O.C. it took me a little over 2 weeks to watch the whole show. i LOVED it. I grew very fond of the characters in the show. It’s literally Gossip Girl but in California minus well…gossip girl. Anyways, i have some opinions but they’re spoilers so beware 🙂

Really good. Not as good as Beverly Hills 90210 and One Tree Hill but still a really good teen drama. It only lasted 4 seasons so I didn’t get as into it. Marisa in my opinion ruined this show and made it very hard to watch considering she was not likable in the slightest.

enjoyed, maybe not as much as my mother but was fun x
some characters made poor choices and were quite annoying (marissa) + #predictable
it was fun to spot all the random actors in there when they were babies !!
bit awks they made a divorced adam and rachel have a wedding x

Fantastic. I laughed. I cried. Got so attached to the characters/their stories. S4 was outlandish, I was confused with some of the writing but otherwise this was GREAT. This was the blueprint. Gossip Girl’s influence; gossip girl on the beach without gossip girl. And I ate it up.

This would have made my “loves” list if it weren’t for the 4th season 🥲

i'm sorry but i watched season 1 but i cannot go any further, i will however now watch one tree hill

FAVORITE SHOW EVER, amazing from beginning to end, love the ending wow, hate that marissa dies, the drama and the love like wow, characters are soooo good, so many things you would never expect to happen happen, love the california vibes too, marissa and ryan forever; 10/10

Absolutely lovedddd this show! I wish we could get a redo of all of the season 3 drama and the aftermath of it, but even so, the characters all finished their arcs beautifully in the last season. Can’t wait to go through all the ups and downs again on my next watch.

THE FIRST 2 SEASONS WERE BOMB.
it went downhill from season 3 yet I still loved and lived for the core four moments. They just progressively ruined Seth's character. For Ryan I can say that he was the protagonist who got the best character development. Summer is the best!

The best teen drama show made. Only four seasons long because it ends after the teenagers finish high school instead of dragging it out needlessly with additional seasons

I tried to like it, first few episodes halfway decent, then it gets completely unbearable. I want those hours back.

i ended up liking this show! the finale tied it together well and it was fun following each character’s personality and their story. some side plots dragged on or went nowhere so i did end up skipping a few eps, but overall it was a pretty enjoyable and memorable show.
