Loose ends loose ends loose ends and rushed tie-ups. Overall I think the show was enjoyable but not amazing, nothing compared to the other shows in the flanniverse. Some of the anthology stories were really cool(dusty is the best).S2 cool probs wont finish neglected plot points.

It was ight. Interesting at some points, boring/silly at other points.

I enjoyed every single aspect of this show because as always the plot in this anthology series is just beautifully done and interconnected masterfully. The characters were all unique along with their illnesses. Plus sm angst, romance and telling scary stories at midnight hehe. 🖤

wow i really loved this show. this balance of horror, mystery, & real heartfelt moments is my absolute favorite. i loved these characters a lot & i cried so many times. the whole premise of the show is also just right up my ally. i adored this & need another season asap!!!

This show is so bad. The main character is so annoying, I felt queer baited at least twice, and watching this made me hope they all die of cancer quicker, they fr went out and made these kids look so damn greasy to play these roles and I regret taking this rec from someone I know

Mike Flanagan is a SICK man who thinks adding a bitter sweet ending will make up for the hours of borderline torture and emotional abuse he inflicts on his audience… I love him… He deserves the world… may my tears protect him from any evil that comes from the depths of his mind…❤️

Overall, I felt the series is pretty detailed in the mystery and creepy aspects of different horror stories I’ve been around or portray some of the same ideas. Definitely recommend to watch by yourself at night. It’s cute and scary.

Not to the standard of Midnight Mass or Haunting of Hill House, but good. Ending wasn’t very satisfying due to plot lines being left unresolved (probably getting ready for season 2).

It was good but not great. The horror stories in between just weren’t that scary and not that much happens across the story. But overall, some spooky vibes and some clever twists with good characters. Just a bit slow and meandering for me.

Honestly, I see what people say about the ending. But I still liked it. Good short show for spooky season 😌

A beautiful take on coping with death. Pre-warning: it leaves off on a cliff hanger with no season two. Netflix did what it does best—cancelling all its’ shows. Luckily, the series is based on books, so you can look up what came next or read it for yourself.

Can’t rlly remember

Despite the fact that it only had one season after being cancelled and leaves some loose ends, I just loved the creativity in each character's stories. It’s the best part of the show. Additionally, it takes a darker, honest look at the struggle to come to terms with death.
