The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power

LOTR nerds need not apply. Stories aren’t sacred. Quality and purity to the story is what’s important, not the details. The overwhelming narrative to Tolkien is that virtue is rewarded in the end, and it holds true here. RoP is a great representation of Tolkien’s philosophy.

Some good moments, but mostly blah characters saying blah things.

I just started the first season on a whim but I found it a bit too slow compared to the LOTR and hobbit films. It wasn’t bad and I enjoyed the last few episodes of season one, but I don’t know if it engaged me enough to persist into the second season

I don’t understand those who hate this show so much… I thought it was a blast. For any of you who did hate it and want to educate me on its flaws, feel free to do so by commenting on this post. I’m curious what made this show so unlikable…
