I’ve gotta say I hated the first few eps. Thong Prakai in this version? Way too dark, way too much. Her personality when she was with her adoptive mom was so overdone I couldn’t sympathize with her at all. Maybe as a kid, she had some moments, but by the time she’s a teen, I was just… nah. But it got a lot better halfway through. The show didn’t follow the original exactly, which actually kept me guessing and excited to see what they’d do next
