The King of Queens

one of my comfort shows i watched growing up :)

Watched it ALL the time as a kid. Great comedy and the episodes are very relatable and funny! Currently rewatching again!

They have a lot of chemistry and fun loving couple

-if you are considering watching this show you have to realize it’s very dated. Doug always gets his way because he’s a man in the late 90s.

-This show is very hit or miss, it felt like every time the story progressed, it also didn’t, every episode felt disconnected except for the final 4 episodes of the show.

-It’s hard to root for Doug as a character since he isn’t a good person, Carrie however, especially in earlier seasons wasn’t actually that rude to people. The side characters are a mixed bag and more stereotypes than anything which is unfortunate but some get better endings than Doug & Carrie.

Overall it’s a very “okay” show, it can be funny but a lot of the time you’ll just be watching while you hear the laugh track every few sentences.

Liked it in the beginning, became more annoying during the end
