These shorter British Crime shows are always interesting even if it’s just average like this one. Some odd writing quirks and attempts to make this dramatic fall a bit flat but there’s some twists and turns so the ending can be a bit mysterious until at least the second half of the series.

The dialogue is so unnatural and quite a few plot holes but damm did it make me cry because generational trauma and a dead daddy will hurt no matter how bad the script is
