I loved the chemistry they had. Litterally from enemies to lovers. I even cried on the end of season 1. But season 3 ruined the series for me, I know he is killed in real life but they could show more of them before he dies. Their duo was the series and they ruined that.

Oh man, some of the best comedic, dramatic writing I’ve seen on TV in a while. A period story of love, hate, tragedy, politics and indulgence. Breathtaking acting and cinematography. It’s a must-watch. I’m genuinely sad that it’s all over.

This is a great series, well cast, funny, clever writing and very interesting take on history but I’m not big on period pieces so I didn’t finish it but I liked what I saw 😉

I am a big fan of historical tv series and that one was quite something
I love the chemistry between the two actors they really carried the show so was so sad when he died My favorite moments the one between Catherine and Peter

started fun but omg the comedy couldn’t save how fcking annoying a lot of these characters are esp catherine and peter
felt like the comedic bits couldnt outweigh how actually stupid the characters were sometimes

i am heartbroken. peter was my favorite. pugachev still being there slightly softened the blow… until he wasn’t lol. i’ll miss nicholas hoult

I think season one was good, but by season 2 they should have figured out the pacing and what they wanted to do with it, and I just didn’t feel that.

Plus many characters were borderline TOO annoying

okay so i started watching this bc i saw mad edits of catherine and peter, got to season 2 and just could not bear to sit through peter’s idiocy and catherine’s naivety any longer 😭😭🤣 very interesting show and if packaged better might’ve finished it, but i can’t handle any more 😭

Some moments were really funny but others felt boring and repetitive. Overall a ok show 3.75/5

Greta tv series, it’s chaotic, funny, a bit dramatic. When I started it I didn’t think it would evolve the way it did. The acting was good. Loved them all

Fanning is brilliant in this. Very interesting and clever satirical telling. A “Great” watch.
