(pt. 1/2) 8/10- the first season totally blow me out of the water! i watched it once the first time when it released and rewatched for the second season. my second time impressions were just as great as the initial (binging it in one day 😭). but second season fell a tad

First season was really good, however I wish there was more slowburn and tension for longer between the two love interests they seemed kinda rushed the way they had a few scenes together and then instantly got married. Also the transition from season 1 to 2 was really bad (1)

I grew up with the sissi movies, so any other adaptation has a high threshold to cross with me... and this is my new favourite! the costumes are otherworldly beautiful, the characters are complex and it makes the dynamics feel new and interesting.just wish there was more episodes

LOVED THIS SHOW!!! I love the actors. The chemistry between the two main characters is off the charts. A good plot too!! I wish season 1 was longer but I’m glad it’s been renewed for second season. Definitely recommend!

I absolutely loved the first season of this and I am so excited that it has been renewed for more! I’m a huge fan of any historical dramas or documentaries, but was kind of in a slump. The empress renewed my love for these types of series, so I recommend if they interest you!

C’était plutôt bien, j’ai bien aimé l’actrice principale et son jeu. L’intrigue est bonne est les acteurs aussi.
Parcontre comment Franz m’énerve, il est très insecure, facilement manipulable et son manque de communication à amené plein de situations énervantes. Sinon c’est bien
