The Diplomat

I’m not a fan of politic type shows. But I will watch one every now and then. I’m glad I decided to check this out. This show kept me invested the whole time. Finished it in 2 days. I hope they come out with a season 2 soon because this was great!

Very entertaining. Good characters. Dialogue can veer a little cheesy. It’s like Shonda Rhimes does Zero Dark Thirty. I’ll be looking out for season 2

More Aaron Sorkin-ish dialogue/ridic vibes than something like the Americans. But Keri Russell x Rufus Sewell x random hot UK prime minister dude is a winning combo. 5/5 cleaning dishes show (you can follow the whole plot just by listening).

Fun couple of seasons in the books with another to come. Worth a watch. Some really good performances across the cast

Update: s3 is equally fun, if similarly preposterous

Update: s4 continues the frequent absurdity and highly entertaining fun. And, to be fair, the absurdity feels more and more like reality in terms of current international politics.

This 4th season was INCREDIBLE!! 🔥🔥🔥

Season 3 was good not great.
Season 4 was ⚡️💯👍🔥
