The Diplomat

I’m not a fan of politic type shows. But I will watch one every now and then. I’m glad I decided to check this out. This show kept me invested the whole time. Finished it in 2 days. I hope they come out with a season 2 soon because this was great!

Very entertaining. Good characters. Dialogue can veer a little cheesy. It’s like Shonda Rhimes does Zero Dark Thirty. I’ll be looking out for season 2

More Aaron Sorkin-ish dialogue/ridic vibes than something like the Americans. But Keri Russell x Rufus Sewell x random hot UK prime minister dude is a winning combo. 5/5 cleaning dishes show (you can follow the whole plot just by listening).

I liked this show a ton. The actors were fantastic and the premise of the series was decent. That said, story was pretty predictable and left waiting for the “gotcha moment” that never came. I’d watch another season or two but thats it.
