The Diplomat

I’m not a fan of politic type shows. But I will watch one every now and then. I’m glad I decided to check this out. This show kept me invested the whole time. Finished it in 2 days. I hope they come out with a season 2 soon because this was great!

Very entertaining. Good characters. Dialogue can veer a little cheesy. It’s like Shonda Rhimes does Zero Dark Thirty. I’ll be looking out for season 2

More Aaron Sorkin-ish dialogue/ridic vibes than something like the Americans. But Keri Russell x Rufus Sewell x random hot UK prime minister dude is a winning combo. 5/5 cleaning dishes show (you can follow the whole plot just by listening).

The start of the series is really strong and while it would be hard to keep the momentum it creates for long, it usually manages to. Only in season 3 there is a deceleration but the finale is enough to make you wait impatiently for season 4
