Idk it’s ok, couldn’t finish past ep 2 maybe I’ll retry in the future

If you like technical terms then can watch. for me, the story is too dragged. they can just make it into 2 hrs. but i supposed it bcoz of the true story based.

Japan’s “Chernobyl.” It you like the HBO show, you might like this too.

Absolutely brilliantly done. If you enjoyed Chernobyl, then you will love this. Fabulous acting, extremely tense. Even more so in some ways than Chernobyl with each episode being a single days events which became more & more terrifying for the workers.

Great commitment to factual accuracy.

It can be a little boring but it’s a true story, they can’t just make stuff up, that defeats the whole purpose. So yes there are more interesting shows but if you are interested in the history of it or wanna learn a little then you’ll like it.

Interesting at times

Crazy story but not made super good. The best was definitely the last episode where he talked about the years after and what happens to the site

It just didn’t keep my attention very well. I expected more. Chernobyl is deffinitely better, as well as K-19: The Widowmaker.

Far too long, the show focuses on the nuclear plant manager’s testimony, so it’s all about how he deals with it, with a rather overdone melodramatic side and every episode looks the same.
You won’t learn anything about the accident and you’ll waste 8 hours.

Starts off good with the tsunami and everything that builds up to that point, on the back of that it gets a little stale.

In the canon of nuclear meltdown shows/movies, Chernobyl and K19: The Widowmaker are definitely better. Very serviceable if you are into disaster-type movies. The portrayal of bureaucrats/corporate management here would be enough to make the Soviets blush though.

When telling a real stories you must be very careful how you treat it, this could be so much better to not be distracting
