This was a really great series. What kind of mother would do those things to their daughter. I mean she watched her mother die suffering and karma did her in. She was messed up in the head and that child suffered for it..But 8 years In jail 🤔

Her mom definitely deserved what she had coming for her! Gypsy Rose did what she had to do to live a happy life.

watched purely because my bestie girl riley patrick is in it, was good i like things based on true stories but this leading actress pisses me off in everything she’s in for an unknown reason.

Most dosturbing thing I’ve probably watched ever until Nick showed then the show lost a bit of the dosturbing factor since 90% of it came from interactions between Dee Dee and Gypsy. But overall really fucking good.

A big WOW. Obv this show is dramatized but it’s based on the real story of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and how her mother was eventually killed. Gypsy was a victim of her mother’s munchausen by proxy (google it) and the way the story was portrayed was mind blowing. Kudos to Joey king!

her voice annoyed me a bit but this series is so intriguing i binged it all

i hate shows like these, for example the dahmer series is just as bad as this

Besides the movie with Zac Effron as Ted Bundy- THIS IS THE BEST TV SERIES ABOUT A TRUE CRIME I’VE EVER SEEN!! I don’t care how much of the show didn’t actually happen for Gypsy- the actors, and producers and the rest of the crew did an amazing job showing viewers this story!

If you know the whole backstory to what happened in real life it makes everything so much more interesting.
I would definitely recommend this if you like suspenseful and compelling stories

Why give someone who manipulated a boy with problems he could not change to kill someone and then give her praise and money? No. This was sick and so was even making it into a movie.

i definitely think series like this are important but i feel that this show tries to make you “sympathetic” for gypsy. but her real behavior still shines through. she manipulated him. her childhood is a reason for her actions but this show uses it as an excuse

The acting was incredible, it’s just a really rough story for me to watch. It had some triggering moments for me. But it was beautifully done

Not accurate

Crazy and tragic story that doesn’t feel real at times . i empathize for everyone involved but i don’t think it could have been resolved in any other way. the show would have been better without the explicit nudity/sex scenes but still an interesting true crime show overall.

I had high hopes for this but didn’t end up liking it. The presentation was very weird, I didn’t like that it bounced back between past, present and future instead of being chronological. It was too embellished and had way too many unnecessary scenes. Could be way shorter

6.7 - Absolutely rushed through this. There are a few really strong performances, especially Arquette. It’s probably Joey King’s best. There are moments that feel clearly dramatized, & some unbalanced pacing towards the end. Worth the watch if true crime drama’s your thing.

The story is twisted and messed up but they did an amazing job of capturing what it would have been like for gypsy in real life. Gypsy herself from jail said that Joey did an amazing job. Not everything is completely accurate though.

loved it, very cringy at times but I think that was intentional. as much as she is a victim, I believe she deserved to serve time for her crimes and I hope she does something productive and good in her life after her release from prison next week.

The way she honestly deserved so much better gypsy did the way this is based on a true story blows my mind how any parent can treat their child like that by muchassens disease or whatever it’s called
