Pompeii: Out of Time with Tom Hiddleston

I have to start by saying that if Tom Hiddleston had been my History Professor in college, I never would have dropped the class; I would have stuck it out, done the extra credit, and paid actual attention. Tom has a way of bringing history to life with these stories he’s pulled from records with the help of researchers; as you learn about these people, he gives you relatable stories that tug at your heartstrings. It’s honestly quite beautiful how something so disastrous could bring so many people together. I truly hope Tom Hiddleston does another series much like this.

This was absolutely fantastic. I was engaged the entire time. It just flowed and put it into perspective of them being actual people compared to a whole disaster.
I love the fact checks, the little jokes, the creativity of piecing together a story.
And Tom narrating makes it so much better.
Definitely a watch if you enjoy history and want more key points

I did low-key just watch this because Tom Hiddleston but it was actually really good

9/10 Tom Hiddleston is Loki a great narrator. This made it seem like there were only a few survivors but 80%-90% of the Pompeii population survived, but still cool as hell.
