this exceeded every expectation i had. absolute insanity. a rollercoaster ride from beginning to end. very easy binge bc it locks u in immediately and doesn’t let go. so many mysteries and surprises to unravel, this show is sooooo fucking good. A24 i love you. casting/acting/score/cinematography/plot/pace/emotion…etc. ALL 12/10. i loved this and absolutely recommend to everyone.

Another Apple series that could have been one long episode of 'Black Mirror'... The main (recurring) problem is having 10 slow episodes just to tell an entirely inconclusive story that features completely predictable characters. Visually, I wish it had taken a more menacing approach, and perhaps even a realistic one, to take full advantage of the MA rating. The cast and comedy are decent, but I couldn't help but cringe a couple of times at the script. I'm just tired of these 10-episode series being 20% concept and 80% filler. It's inconsistent and pointless. I was going to give this a 6, but I just found out it's been cancelled.

I wanted to love this. It has so many signs of being incredible but it didn’t go where I wanted it to. But regardless, there’s so much quirk and personality infused in that it is worth a watch. Curious for them to tie up more loose ends.

I was hoping for a deeper and more interesting reflection on future tech, but Sunny was thoroughly unique, which made it worthwhile to watch anyway. Recommend.
