I’m so surprised at how much this captured me from the first episode and blew me away, I loved this show!
The acting, the 1930’s setting and the black and white pallet all give this show so much style and I didn’t expect to love it this much! The B&W colour really enhances so much of the cinematography and the different shots that they tried to pull off, which are both done really well.
The characters are soooo good! Nick cage as Ben Reilly is so well casted, he’s unbelievably cool, and witty and it’s so much fun watching him be a detective investigator character. Silvermane was a surprisingly good villain, he reminded me of the penguin and kingpin, he’s a lot like them. The superpowered characters were handled very well in my opinion and I like the way that spider-noir gets his powers, it all links together pretty well and it’s a cool switch up.
Also the opening theme song absolutely slaps, they cooked with it. Do not sleep on this, yet another really well done piece of spider man media that does not disappoint.
My score: 8.5/10

I love Nic Cage, and I love Spider-Man. Unfortunately, I didn't love Spider-Noir. I was expecting peak, like in every other Spider-Man project. However, I'd probably rank this in the bottom tier of Spider-Man rankings due to the weak acting, pacing, and engagement. It's not all bad, as it does justice to Noir himself, plus the visuals look great, from the web designs to the costumes to the cinematography. The storylines are great too, but as a series, it lacks watchability. I watched the black-and-white version, and I wish I liked it enough to rewatch it in colour. All in all, it's got positives and negatives.

Decent start, but I feel this is holding back, it feels like a pilot season of tv. It hasn’t fully nailed everything down yet the clearly didn’t have a high budget and some acting was choppy. I think if they made it darker and had a higher budget it can be great one day 9/10

Interesting and really cool Spider-Man show. It’s about time we finally got a live action tv series about a Spider-Man (other than the 70s series)

It started out really good. Was very invested in the first 3 episodes or so, then I started to lose interest cause it felt like the story was dragging, the comedy/humor didn’t land for me. It was too campy. I wish it was more serious. And it’s another story of the main character not wanting to be Spiderman but does anyway kinda thing. The cgi was decent, the swinging was cool, Nic cage did his thing. Brendan Gleason was acting circles around most of the cast. And I think my favorite part of the whole show was Lamore Morris as Robbie Robertson! I wanted to like this so much more. Also the option to watch b&w or color was sick!

6/10 - it’s just alright. Appreciate the time/era piece of it all. But a bit boring coming from
a spiderman property. Also didn’t appreciate being a part of marketing data collection exercise. Director should have chose black or color and stuck with it.

This show was absolutely STUNNINGLY made oh my goodness.
I won’t lie I had my doubts at first about this show but they were quickly gone as soon as I started watching it.
I absolutely love how they show that The Spider is just an older guy who’s not in the best shape but can still fight nonetheless.
The show was also visually absolutely amazing and I decided to settle on watching it fully in black & white which means I’ll most likely rewatch it with colour aswell at some point.
The story and plot weren’t really complex and it brought everything together so well and the characters were also really well written.
I’m not even gonna get into the cast because it was packed with such amazing actors and made me point at my screen like Leonardo DiCaprio in that one meme.
Nicolas Cage did a phenomenal job which I just have to point out.
Overall a well made show that I hope more people will come to like as much as I did.

It’s okay. Nicholas cage acting was really pissing me off. Most episodes could have been 20 mins long ‘cause I felt bored through some parts. Even though I did enjoy some scenes, it was still mid at best. I loved Janet, Robbie, & Silvermane’s acting! Nick cage tho = annoying!

Nick cage was having a blast playing a crime noir character. he killed the role.

The real hero in this show is The Spider stunt man.
Love the story, color pallet (watched the color version), the characters and all the actors, except for Cage. I’m not sure what Cages accent was and his bizarre method of acting puts me off. Regardless tho, shows great!

Besides Nic Cage doing fun Nic Cage-y things, I found this incredibly dull. The story lacklustre, cliché, and tired. Vey little action. Fans of the IP might enjoy it. I did not.

Its a good start, I’d say I want to see them expand on this but my hopes aren’t high that they will
Nicholas Cage was good but at the start it kinda felt like I was watching Invincible the way he kept getting his ass kicked 😭

A dark and gritty take on The Spider. Love the cinematography. Watched in color after watching episode 1 in black and white. Nicholas Cage was the right choice for this show, especially when things got weird. Silvermane was a great villain although a bit cliche. Some bad CGI looked out of place and I hated Megawatt or whatever you want to call him. Overall think it’s a new and fun take on your not-so-friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

Spider-Noir is a very fun take on the beloved web slinger and I’m glad Sony Pictures finally gave us a Spider-Man story with an actual Spider-Man in it. Nic Cage toes the line between gritty and bombastic really well and the whole tone of the show is well executed.

Only good thing Sony has ever done with the Spider-Man IP.
I don’t like Nicolas Cage as an actor but I think he absolutely killed this role.
Watched the first episode in color but switched led to black and white.
I recommend the ladder because it’s a dialogue focused show so the classic black and white gives the noir vibes so much better.
Perfectly captured that gritty detective noir vibes while still giving us a spider man show.
Would love to see a season 2.

the intro is probably my favorite thing about this show. the action and cinematography was great too but there wasn’t enough action imo. watching in b&w definitely enhanced everything but i’m excited to rewatch and see what the colors looked like in certain scenes. very cool that they did it this way
