Better than the movie, which wasn’t hard. Not the best ending and the narration sounded like a wild life documentary on spawn. Still it looked cool so I like it

6/14/26: I’m glad I learned you never see the Devil/Malebolgia throughout this series before I watched it, as I think I would have been disappointed that there was such a buildup for his character that led nowhere really. Season 1 was alright, but I wanted more Hell creatures and less dirty-city-alleyway plot, though it had a genuinely perturbing arc, in a good way! Season 2 was BALLS and so boring omg, Spawn was literally only moping and going “WANNNDAAA 😩” for farrr too long. Season 3 was FANTASTIC and gave so much more fantasy realm content and incredibly powerful female characters for 1999!! I want so much more of that!! Im so so sad the show stopped where it did, it was finally fucking getting good after meandering for so long. Reading what Season 4 was supposed to be like..,,/, WE WERE ROBBED <333 THERE WERE GONNA BE COOL LESBIANNNSSSS 😭😭

I’m so glad I found this show and watched it, Keith David is an absolute legend. Definitely one of my favourite actors, and this show is so entertaining. The animation and dark tone make this an amazing cartoon.

The story is a little slow and takes a while to pick up, and even when it does pick up, it’s not very action packed. The storyline is interesting, and the animation is awesome, just a little boring is all. Still pretty good, though.
