Dieses Prequel zur Hauptserie ist ok, mehr aber auch nicht.
Qualitativ schließt es in etwa an das Ende der ersten Staffel an. Effekte und Sets sehen also immer noch ziemlich billig aus.
Die Story ist zwar ganz interessant, bietet aber nichts besonderes.

Rest in peace Andy Whitfield. This prequel was fantastic and a welcome addition to the series. After the glory of the arena in the original season, this show takes us back to before Spartacus. The quality is higher and the protagonist is more than willing to put on a show.

Solid prequel series that from what I recall ups the action and style given its more eccentric protagonist (no shade to Andy Whitfield RIP).
