Small Town, Big Story

Big Town, Small Story. The potential from the first few episodes gave me so much hope, plus Hendricks and Considine carry the story with so much charisma. I don't know what I was expecting with the sci-fi/alien narrative, but in the end, it feels like a total waste. A big Hollywood production in a small Irish town was all the plot needed, but of course, with the focus being split into several other directions, it all ended up being messy. Honestly, if it weren't such a cop-out, I would have given it a solid 6/10. Also, I know it's created by Chris O'Dowd, but his cameo was completely jarring. I doubt there'll be a s2, but if there is, I'll most likely pass.

Really really liked this. Loved the sci-fi element. Really good at keeping you guessing. The ending is a bit unsatisfying.
