so different and much worse than what i thought it’d be. way too many unanswered questions. way too much pointless dialogue?? why tf the greek mythology references?? genuinely wasted 5 hours of my life. episode titles had zero relevance. sad as shit bc what a studded cast, but what the fuck was this!!!?!?!?!!! a senseless series 2.8/10

The white lotus wannabe. Hated the series like wtf was that such a waste of time, so disappointing with such a great cast.

seeing quite a few people complain about the lack of “twist,” but personally i think that’s what made this show so great. the visual aspects are stunning, the acting is lovely, and the story is realistic with great commentary on how we inherently pit women against one another.

I liked it at the start, but I kept waiting for the big twist, and nothing came. The ending fell flat. Many scenes and dialogue feeling pointless throughout. I wanted them to turn into actual sirens. But be assured there is no supernatural elements here.

It wasn’t bad necessarily. Had some genuinely funny parts. But too many things went unexplained. Tried to be the stepford wives and missed. Also, the ending was super ambiguous. Is there going to be a second season????

I was going to give this a mediocre 4/10 rating, but on reflection, it's more like a 2/10. I will say it's not really my type of show to watch, but I gave it a go, and to keep it brief, I shouldn't have. I didn't understand nearly any of the references. I didn't like the blurry, glary type of cinematography. I wasn't understanding the point of the plot. I did get the messages behind certain points, but I didn't like the point-blank whitewashing. The underwhelming flatness after intense scenes confused me too. Overall, it presents itself as being more than what it truly is. I'd skip.

It would have been a love except for the last episode left on such a bad ending making you hate everyone except Morgan

It definitely keeps you interested… But mostly because you expect some sort of supernatural reveal… That never come to fruition. Watching the series… Kind of felt like edging.

spent 5 hours waiting for either a mermaid to appear, someone to die, or something bad to happen in general but never quite got there. still don't know what the point of this was and was hoping the ending would at least give closure to that feeling of expectation 🤷🏽‍♀️

Lots of plot holes. But who doesn’t like watching rich people in beautiful location act like terrible people?

Strange to watch a whole show though where all the characters are awful people; no heroes at all.

It was a good show. Very odd. I don’t think they’ll ever have to do a follow up or second season.

Hooked me from the beginning. Easy binge with 5 episodes. It’s eerie, twisted, well thought out and interesting. There’s no clear protagonist or antagonist. It presents characters that feel real flawed, familiar, and trying to deal with the lives they been handed.
