This show was such a nice summer binge. It was a great balance between lighthearted “friendship is magic” kids tv and also the reality of indoctrination, societal pressure, fate, trust, and redemption. A great example of powerful leads and authentic, satisfying representation.

such a good show :( i loved the character design and the strong female characters + so much lgbt rep, it was such a breath of fresh air
the story is so crazy, albeit predictable at times but it’s just so sweet and full of joy and love
way too good for a kids show like what

this show was great!! i felt like the plot was kinda basic but i still enjoyed it. i loved the characters & magic! all of the relationships between characters were great as well. the main romance was so good—sapphic slow burn friends-to-enemies-to-friends-to-lovers?? say less.

great show!! awesome representation of all kinds, with a colorful story that gets much deeper by the end. i do wish some character/redemption arcs were touched on more, but regardless i had fun and wish i had a show like this as a kid

Awesome sci-fi/fantasy adventure series. Great characters, engaging lore, cool world, some solid fight scenes, good jokes, a sprinkling of hype moments and aura, and a compelling thematic core. 8/10 hope it doesn’t end up being lost media forever.

the style is beautiful and story ok. Its the kind of show you can turn on, chill out and enjoy without being massively invested in the plot (unless you're danny motta it seems) simply a kids show done well

8.4/10 I have never seen the original she-ra series but this series puts a lot of heart and dedication into the development of each character. It is truly a wonderful watch that gets better with each better

The animation, the character development (especially with shadow weaver and catra) the drama, the action, the emotions, the representation, UGH I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH, ESPECIALLY THE LAST COUPLE OF EPISODES 😩♥️

Very disappointed with how the cycle of abuse narrative fell flat near the end with undeserved redemption arcs, but all and all a really good series. The representation is fantastic, and the writing is just fun. I wish I was a kid when this came out. I think I needed it

it’s okay. it romanticizes abuse and portrays negative racial and queer stereotypes. the animation is subpar. the storyline is fine though.

Was not expecting a netflix reboot of an old cartoon from the 80s to finally give a healthy and powerful lesbian representation.
It’s reminiscent of atla in the way that every szn is better than the last. Definitely a peak cartoon
