didn’t even pay attention to the plot but they were so sexy for no reason

Started this solely for Oscar Isaac and I was sent through the 5 stages of grief

finished it in one day , the biggest emotional rollercoaster i have ever been on and i loved every second of it

this was rough

mistah was also so incredibly hot, he’s so attractive and also just yum 🤭
wasn’t a fan of the last ep though

Couldn’t finish it and I don’t wanna keep it in my ‘watching.’ Three eps in.
The acting is fucking amazing don’t get me wrong here, which yknow, is why I don’t wanna keep watching. Just don’t wanna watch two beautiful people struggling with their marriage man, it ain’t me

Sometimes you miss what you ran away from in order to find happiness!

Masterpiece

Incredible

One of the best shows or series ever made and one of the hardest watches I’ve ever had to make.

wow, i am diverged in my thoughts. i think “complicated” is an understatement, but it encapsulates mira and jonathan’s marriage quite adequately. chastain and isaac work so well together; it doesn’t feel like an act.

this show stressed me out so much, but it felt so real. i found myself relating to both of these characters, good and bad. the last ep felt so freeing seeing them truly being open with each other and embracing where they ended up. it truly was a good and real story.

Bearded Oscar Issac you’re so special to me

you know that oscar issac & jessica chastain are elite level actors when the entire news/discourse of this show at the time was allegations of them cheating with each other. their chemistry is so believable that it made people think they were actually in love IRL

Every episode peels back the layers of love, resentment, and human complexity. It’s raw and uncomfortable and heartbreakingly real sometimes..

So this was a hard rating. I think every episode except the last was absolutely amazing in almost every way. Then the last episode just absolutely character assassinated someone and it was really uncalled for
