Honestly, Scarpetta just didn’t hit like that. It tries to be deep and serious with all the forensic stuff, but it ends up feeling kinda slow and not that exciting. The story drags at times, and it’s missing that tension or energy that keeps you locked in.

For every positive, there's a negative, so I was considering rating it a mediocre 5-6/10. Then, for absolutely no reason, it ends on one of the worst cliffhangers imaginable. The character writing/development is point-blank atrocious. The build-up is convoluted, and the payoff is underwhelming. The casting is decent, but I prefer the younger versions by a mile. The drama and subplots are jarring. Overall, it's a waste of time, mostly due to the fact that I'll have forgotten everything by the time season 2 comes around.

It was weird, but interesting enough to keep watching… and what a finale 👀 I want to know who she saw

Wish this was better and not just because I loved the books. The flashback scenes are the best and most compelling parts. Should have just told that story with those actors, the big name actors ruined it. The main mystery had weird plot turns and unnecessary family drama.

Didn’t even finish the first episode. I don’t even know what that was, but definitely didn’t like it.

Started as a fun show about solving a serial killer case. Mid series the plot pivots to something entirely different. They also weave in lessons that have nothing to do with the story which stick out in painfully obvious ways. To cap it off, AI plays an insane role in it all.

🤷♂️02/10 ‼️‼️I was really looking forward to this series especially with the time honored cast featured.
Unfortunately, I started to lose interest in the first episode but gave it one more episode to redeem itself.
I will not put myself through another episode.
The flashback sequences were amateurish and the plot mainly focused on the dysfunction between the characters.
The screeching arguments and sensitivity of the roles were unbelievable for this type of occupation.
These type of films should hook you in the beginning ‼️🤷♂️so you can emotionally connect to at least one character.
After 2 episodes, I didn't care about any of them 🙏🏻

Muy muy floja, el desarrollo de personajes es aburridísimo, y al final, la resolución del caso es por los jajas

The hell is this? Total ChatGPT ass show. Watch the pilot and tell me how many times they say “Scarpetta.” Felt like 50+. Atrocious show. Was Keith Urban holding Nicole together?

Scarpetta had an intriguing premise, a promising cast. Unfortunately, the series doesn’t quite live up to its ambitions. The storytelling feels unclear and the editing disrupts the pacing.

Nicole Kidman delivers a contender for a career-best performance as Dr. Kay Scarpetta in this gripping and thrilling rollercoaster ride of a show. Jamie Lee Curtis and the entire cast were also equally fantastic throughout the series.
I was completely unaware of the serial killer’s identity and grew increasingly bewildered as the episodes unfolded. The final scenes were truly INSANE and the cliffhanger was, well, just incredibly rude. I need Season 2 immediately because who the fuck walked in at the end?! I loved every second of this series, and S2 seriously can't come quickly enough!
