Say Nothing Reviews

A fantastic show about The Troubles in Ireland. I visited Belfast and Dublin a few months ago so I found the show particularly fascinating.

Didn’t need to be made. So boring

Marian is the most compelling character

Holy shit i love Ireland 🇮🇪

gerry adams and brendon hughes were never casual

Excellent

Really good explanation of part of the story of the troubles. Maxine Peake is fabulous in it.

Sooo good

I adored how the show started off as a high octane spy thriller but slowed down as the characters grew up and became an introspective look into regret. Fantastic commentary on the impetuousness of youth. It’s still fuck the british though, now and forever

Great show!!!

After two episodes I found it a little slow and didn't think I was going to continue but a few days later I found myself wondering about these characters and that's how I knew I had to finish it out and I'm so glad I did. Very moving, eye-opening and perfect casting.

Only watched it because of my history essay tbh but it was mid

8/10

awesome

a testament to what tv can do when taking the time, care, detail, and attention required to hurdle past mere entertainment and achieve accuracy. rly strong performances in a story that at its core is abt the deep regrets formed as u age and consider youth.

Great series

An uncomfortable watch in some instances but very well acted. I wouldn’t watch it again.

Fascinating and crucially educating as I know so many people even those that have grown up at this time in the world that are surprisingly unaware of The Troubles in Ireland… ignorance is truly bliss but more people should be aware of this war as history does repeat itself… 🇮🇪🤫✝️

Absolutely fantastic

It’s a bit scary, but it’s fantastic
