Renegade Nell

Some kind of funny cloak and dagger series with a supernatural twist. It doesn’t take long to get caught in it. Frank Dilane made me think of a young Johnny Depp. Louisa Harland is a really engaging lead. This is a great surprise. Binge worthy!

Still can’t work out if this show is for kids but I enjoyed it regardless and I was hooked from start to finish. The main actress Louisa Harland, played the witty devil Nell perfectly.
With a feminist tone and supernatural twist, I’m really looking forward to another season.

I liked this show, but I think I had high hopes for it, and it fell short of my expectations. Knowing that it was Sally Wainwright directing, I thought it would be dramatic and queer, like Gentleman Jack - and it seemed like it was TRYING to be that, albeit failing.
