I want to like this, the art style is wonderful, but the plot is so mid, things just sort of happen and loose ends aren’t tied up in a satisfactory way.

beautiful animation and story telling , definitely fast paced towards the end but there's the 1998 version that retells it properly so i'm looking forward to that

Had fun watching this. Definitely wish wizard of the cost had the stuff in this universe in forgotten realms.
