Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Reviews

My favorite series of any piece of media personally. I think that the way the main character develops and learns who he truly is makes him an amazing character even tho early on he was kind of pitiful and almost unlike able. Isekai but realistic tbh. Definitely give this a try :)

… I watched it :/

8/10

Kinda boring but I’m not really a fan of isikas or how ever you spell it

it does a lot of things right but almost every character is unhealthily in love with some one else and it’s their only reason for doing anything. It’s annoying. And all the little girl stuff is bad but I’m used to it sadly.

PEAK. Every character is so unique and likeable. Subaru is such an amazing and deep character with realistic actions and growth. The story is very interesting with so many plot twists and great fights, plus the animation is amazing. The emotional scenes hit so hard too. 8.5/10

This szn was one of the best ⚡️

nicht zuende geschaut

The fan service gets annoying but the plot is so good and the mystery and thriller of it is actually worth enjoying because it goes so much deeper than you can fathom, this show is so mind-fucky in the best possible ways

Took me a bit to get thru s1 but s3 was so good. Looking forward to next season

S4 update woooooooooooo that was great but lowkey rem coming back was anticlimactic

Rated: 8.5/10

As a JRPG fan, I had to see if this time-loop anime earned its dark reputation. I love this; turning a standard fantasy into a brutal survival story is brilliant.

The Director's Eye (What Worked):
• “Return by Death” carries heavy weight since Subaru remembers trauma others forget.
• Suehiro’s score makes timeline resets feel genuinely dreadful.
• The supporting cast gets layered development beyond standard tropes.

The Friction (What Didn't Click for Me):
• Subaru’s arrogant early attitude is tough to stomach before he matures.
• Watching tragic events repeat can drag the pacing.

The Verdict:
I love it. Watch for heavy dark fantasy. Skip if you hate time loops.
