The aura is strong with this one. Immensely strong comedic timing, extremely fun ideas with superb animation and action. It feels like no second is ever wasted with a joke. The absurdity of all the characters is also drawn out so well.

If you don’t like anime, you won’t like this at all. But I love it, I love the music, I love the animation. I love it all. Hopefully Ranma can catch some Ws next season.

8/10 Super goofy series and I loved a lot of the characters and the dialogue. Interesting story concept. I really liked the animation style as well. My only complaint is that it feels like it’s one of those series where it’s going to take 50+ episodes for anything romantic to actually develop between the two characters. Some of the times it got a bit repetitive with how it went around that and I’m not a big fan of how the first season ended but I know there will be a season 2. Curious to see how it develops.

Ranma1/2
Rating: 8/10
A vibrant, nostalgia-fueled remake polishing the classic manga with modern animation and chaotic heart.
Highlights
- Faithful Adaptation: Captures the slapstick "Anything-Goes" energy of Rumiko Takahashi's original.
- Great Cast: Original Japanese voice cast returns, with a solid English dub.
- Fluid Animation: MAPPA brings fluid martial arts sequences and colorful designs.
Criticisms
- Status Quo: Characters rarely change, romantic progress is often interrupted.
- Dated Elements: Some characters may feel dated to modern sensibilities.
- Pastel Palette: Color choices can cause characters to blend into backgrounds.
Verdict
A successful revitalization of a classic, proving the gender-bending rom-com formula is timeless. Polished, heartwarming, and fun-filled with unique twists.

A pretty rare funny and entertaining anime that kept me laughing for a good amount of it, so it would only be right that I’d enjoy it with a high review
