i had a hard time staying focused when watching this. i struggled with watching the first half because of how gross and depressing everything was, but i'm so glad i decided to stay sincr it definitely got better towards the second half. it has triggering content but a happy end.

10/10 This is one of the rare times a series in my opinion really goes in depth. There were several times where this series could’ve ended but it kept going and I think it really worked. I liked how it wasn’t just about them getting out of the reformatory to escape their abusers but also how they each found their own path in the real world after. The series really set on growth and forgiveness and I think they made the right choice in following what Anchan would’ve wanted. I do wish a few characters like scam and especially soldier got a bit more story to them later on but again not everyone is going to be at the same success or depth level at the same time. Was interesting to see how Mario slowly became like Anchan throughout the series. Such a good anime that really has so many stories throughout and really develops its characters.

Great start and characters. Dropped at the middle of the show because didnt get the point of the storyline after what I thought was the conclusion. Need to rewatch maybe
