Clever at times, but the humor is hit-or-miss. I don’t know I didn’t like it as much as the movies. The cases are simple, almost secondary to the gags. The absurd tone is distinct but can feel overbearing.

This is the short lived TV show that spawned the Naked Gun movies. If you like the movies, you owe it to yourself to watch the series, because you can’t really have too much Frank Drebin.
