You can’t go wrong when James Gunn is involved, Disney really fumbled when they fired Gunn from Marvel

I was doubting giving this such a high rating, but upon rewatch, I realised how much I missed the characters. I love James Gunns comicness. It gives me hope for the DCU. They managed to compact so many genres and storylines in one series alone. The humour amongst the acting just cheers me up. The soundtrack and the action and the cgi make me want to jump. It's one of the only DCEU things I look forward to rewatching. I can't wait for season 2.

9.5/10 HELL YEAH!! Killing n@zis with a mother f’in chainsaw! I love this series so much and vigilante is so me coded. The soundtrack is so good and opening theme is unskippable. I love everything about it except for the random explicit nsfw content. P + V for life!!

I love peacemaker but I’m kinda disappointed in season 2

John Cena is a perfect cast for “Peacemaker” the storyline is very entertaining and enjoyable. I’m glad to see underrated DC characters are getting involved in the big screen.

9/10 If you like shows like “The boys” or “Invisible “ this is something for you. John Cena is amazing as peacemaker. It’s a great story to see. The soundtrack is amazing. James Gunn do a masterpiece for DC like he did it for Marvel. So funny and chill. Can’t wait for season two.

I’m kind of sad I watched this so fast but it was soooo good. Funny, interesting and I really enjoyed both plots in each of the seasons. Didn’t know John Cena could act like that either, Very similar to “The Boys”, so right up your alley if you liked that show.

Raw character emotion shown throwout, amazing acting. Reason this season is better than the last for me is the plot, and the season 3 plot has me hooked too.

Both seasons of this are incredible. Season 1 focuses on more action and Peacemaker while Season 2 focuses on Chris as a character and his surrounding friends, family & enemies. Sad to see this show only go for 2 seasons, BUT I trust in Gunn and the many plans he has for Peacemaker in the future of the DCU 🔥

4.5/5 - I adored season one of Peacemaker, and I’d even say it’s one of the best superhero shows of recent times, and unique in a way that I really enjoyed. Season one was very well written, and perfectly balanced action with mystery, and silly with seriousness, which helped create such a well-rounded storyline and making it very easy to connect with. I think the characters were very interesting with a lot of nuance, and clearly well-thought out storylines, and I cared for each character no matter what their role was within the show. Season one is truly the reason that i can consider this a show that I loved, despite what I’m about to say about season two.

Unfortunately for me, season two was a bit of a let down. I still enjoyed the characters - namely Ad’s & Adrian - and some of the stories included, but i just felt there was hardly any exploration or growth from the first season despite three years passing since s1. The characters became more shallow, with very little development from season one, and it just felt like we were going in circles the whole season - every episode felt like it could be building to something big, only to have it either be fixed immediately in the beginning of the next episode, or just glossed over completely. The finale itself was especially a let down for me as I felt it didn’t truly conclude anything shown throughout the season; so many doors were left open that I’m not sure will be closed as they don’t feel like they could be important enough to the whole DCU, despite being important for the show. Overall I just found it deeply disappointing, because to me it felt like there were so many opportunities for plot progression that were just missed, in favour of weakly setting up for future DC projects.

I will also say I’ve seen like 3 DC projects ever so this review is my thoughts on it more as a standalone series :’)
