Such a bizarre show. It took me a minute to realize the main character was really being played by himself…he was just so strange I couldn’t believe it wasn’t an act. The doc is done really well, it’s basically a documentary about a documentary.

Drove me crazy. Should have had an actor play his part.

Wow. Definitely a must see! Go in as blind as you can. But it’s a mixture of a documentary, a crime drama, a soap opera, and a fever dream. In short, it’s amazing and easily bingeable.

Wasn’t what I thought it would be

I have no idea what I just watched. And I enjoyed the hell out of it. It’s a true crime show, meets The Room, meets absurdity.

Watched first 20 minutes. Found him painful

documentary filmmaking at its finest. just watch it.

This is one wild ride. If you watched The Rehearsal or Nathan For You, this has very similar humor. You never really know what to believe from this very unreliable yet authentic narrator and that’s what keeps you watching. Drags a bit in ep 4/5 but picks up again.

This series is insane. I found myself hating Paul and myself for watching this. But he’s a train wreck, and I just had to see how deeper he would go in his fantasy. The show is NOT a train wreck and the director whom I now have a crush on did a great job of showing all sides.
