So the series was created by same person that directed Perfect Blue. It’s in the psychological genre so just know it’s definitely a mind f**k and is gonna feel like an acid trip

It’s okay not bad not good

It was made by the team behind Perfect Blue and it shows. It’s a wild weird ride that coalesces into something haunting by the end. This is clearestly demonstrated in the opening song. It’s so strange but it wiggles its way into your head and you’ll be hearing it for weeks after the show ends.

absolutely mind boggling!!!! most of the time, you'd think: wtf is happening??? but all of the scenes shown are absolutely necessary for the story-telling, and they all have their own meanings. i love maromi :3

If you guys didnt understand the anime at first, it’s ok. Watch Max Derrat’s video on paranoia agent. Everything will click in an instant and will have you loving the anime. Will def be rewatching this again.

This show threw me for a loop. I was totally lost after episode 5 until I was reeled back in by episodes 12 & 13. I think by the last episode the message becomes very clear. It’s all about accountability and the lengths people will go in order to avoid facing the reality of their actions. I’d probably rate it higher if it wasn’t such a quick and confusing shift from reality to delusion

I think it is worth sitting through, cause Satoshi Kon never misses

It’s really confusing but it’s insanely good. it’s to be expected from the guy that made Perfect Blue
