There’s not a single meaningless scene. Very touching drama. It’s one of the best series I’ve ever watched.

Quite different from the book! But I honestly felt that made both the book and this series better. Fun to see these characters from a different view, and with more emotions attached. Important portrayal of what Koreans in Japan went through

Breathtaking .. spectacular.. epic drama. A history I knew nothing about. Lost count of how many times I cried. Just an incredible incredible series. Highly recommend.. can hardly wait for season 2. I literally didn’t want it to end . 10/10

Painful, complicated, and contentious story of a Korean family in Japan across generation. Incredibly well told and thought provoking story. Not an easy watch but excellent television.

Trop bien ! On ne peut pas regretter le visionnage et après, on a les chansons du générique en boucle. Trace historique des coréens au Japon et des difficultés qu'ils ont pu rencontrés.

Took me a while to finish but it’s good. Most of the time I would be confused because they show from the past and present.

I loved it after reading the book. I’m disappointed that there is no season three the series feels incomplete.

Love it!!! One of the best shows on TV. When will Apple decided to make a third season?? They can’t just drop the show.

Just finished season one. Wow! This show is master class. Acting, soundtrack, story, directing. It is at times both brutally painful and at the same time beautiful. Watch in the original language and use subtitles. Can’t wait to watch season two.
