cried like a baby in the end

When I first saw this I thought it would be another cringey rom com show. But the whole show from start to end was so much more than that. It was more than love and drama filled with lovers spats and makeup sex and jealous exes and constant pointless flirting. From every moment

This was too annoying at first. All the characters were annoying af💀I struggled to keep watching hoping it’ll get better. It didn’t.Don’t compare it to normal people you’re ruining it for me. I guess I’m the problem everybody seems to love it.
DON’T COMPARE THIS TO NORMAL PEOPLE.

90% of this is really frustrating to watch with neither main character being particularly likable for a stretch of episodes.

Very much a Netflix romance limited series…not really for me. But this is having a moment rn so maybe I’m just a hater 🤷🏻‍♂️

another piece of media reinforcing the weird idea that true love is best represented when it’s borne of emotional infidelity. the secondary partners of both characters were so two-dimensional and only used to facilitate the slow burn between emma and dexter. lazy writing.

Let me tell you something… this show is absolutely fucking beautiful but heartbreaking! Please make sure you are ready to be in a fragile emotional state after binge watching this beautiful heartbreaking series. (Read the book as well when you get the chance!)

the main characters are so annoying it’s insufferable 😢 i really thought i was gonna like this show but i had to force myself to get to the end

8.1/10 great for a one season show. Reminded me a lot of normal people. Right person wrong time with a sad sad ending. It was interesting to compare this to the movie. I like Dex in the series way better and they make him out to be extremely complicated. I liked Emma in the movie

I watched the movie so I knew the plot but the show adaptation is just as good. So heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time.

7.5/10 the atmosphere and time skips worked really well I loved the nostalgic feelings throughout the series and the cinematography slapped plus the soundtrack was perfection such a realistic story and I liked that it wasn’t sugar coated like most romantic series even tho it sad

I binged this show. It was fun, sad, heart felt and heart wrenching. Cried my way through the whole of the last episode.

it didn’t really catch my interest at first but near the end it was really emotional, i didn’t rlly like him until i was able to understand his character but overall it rlly captured life and i thought the timeline was rlly cool and unique

Made me sob like a newborn baby who’s deprived of their mother.
