Started watching the series when it first came out and put it down shortly after. Finally finished and felt it was very reminiscent of monty python humor and similar to The Decameron also on Netflix. Equal moments of humor and head scratching

It employs absurd humor and anachronism to reveal the triviality of power, the fragility of social roles, and the contradictions of communal life. Its parody of Viking culture, filtered through modern sensibilities, exposes timeless dynamics of identity, desire, and inequality.

The Office but Vikings, really cracks me up, it does get the tiniest bit too gory/vulgar for me every now and again (which is kind of a hard bar to hit) but overall a really silly fun show, I just love this one

A mix of Monty Python and The Office but with Vikings and taking place in 781. Absolutely fantastic. A very quick watch but well worth it. Funny and dry humor but also in your face. 9/10

Ersten beiden Staffel sehr gut, danach leider langweilig. Anderer Humor, ziemlich gut aber teilweise etwas weird

Absolutely hilarious throughout, where most of the humor is masterfully written, perfectly timed and performed dialogue. Hopefully Netflix will reconsider the cancellation. At only 18 episodes at 30 min each, it’s well worth the watch.
