Nichijou: My Ordinary Life
Most random anime ive seen, yet its actually funny and actually entertaining. This is actually Peak! Pretty good for watching a quick episode while taking a passenger ride or in your free time of doing nothing. Peak!

Nichijou: My Ordinary Life
I have been “watching” this show for easily over a year, and it feels really good to finally finish it! It’s not my usual kind of show (scroll through the movies and show I’ve watched for like five seconds and you’ll see that), but I had a lot of fun with it. I took so long because it’s the perfect kind of show to just throw on when you’re bored, so I basically only watched one episode at a time every couple of months 😭 again, that has no bearing on the quality of the show!! Just the way I watched it.
The characters in this show are SO lovable. Not all of them are created equally, however — far and away, my favorite characters were Nano, Hakuse, and Sakamoto. Every scene that had them was so much fun, and I loved seeing whatever antics they were up to. But the characters in general are just fantastic. Yūko, Mio, and Mai are such a fun trio as well.
The show is also just so wholesome and easily digestible! I obviously love my darker media with deep lore, high stakes, etc. But, it’s fun to just watch something that’s so different than that. It’s a true comfort show — everything about it is super cute!
The humor of the show can definitely be hit-or-miss, which I would consider to be the biggest issue with it. Sometimes, you will get an absolutely hilarious, laugh-out-loud moment that really sticks with you. However, a lot of the time, you just end up either not understanding the joke at all, or it’s just not all that funny. That could be differences in culture/translation or just the absurdist style of comedy that it embraces. Most of the jokes fall somewhere in the middle of that spectrum.
If not for my girlfriend, I definitely wouldn’t have watched this anime, so I’m realy glad she recommended it to me. And it always feels good getting something off your watchlist after having it as a work-in-progress for so long 😌
