i stopped watching this after episode 14
i really did try but it was so boring and it felt like the biggest waste of time
i am really sorry and i also hate not finishing things but this was impossible to keep watching

this show was so so good, the turn from being about mecha pilots to being about their psychological issues was so so interesting. definitely a great watch and a classic

What I thought was gonna be some silly show about giant robots actually ended up being so emotive. Every character is so well portrayed and I love how each pilot represents a coping mechanism to deal with absent parents. Incredibly poignant story with relatable topics 10/10

As a kid, I didnt really care for it, I expected big kaiju fights and action. As an adult rewatching this, yea, it's a little boring, and uncomfortable at times. And I think thats on purpose. The show relies on show dont tell. The storys themes really hit me. It's hard to explain

It lost me a lot of times in ways that I feel were kinda unnecessary but I fully understand that’s the point. I’ve never seen any anime like this one nor the movie. It made me incredibly uncomfortable at times but it had something to say underneath it all.
