Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story

justice system failed these boys in 1989 and now the creators have failed them by distorting the truth to serve his own agenda
instead of claiming it to be based on a true story it should say “loosely based on a true event and heavily dramatized to feed the creators fantasies”

Ryan Murphy did a horrible job with portraying what these brothers went through. Horrible job portraying Lyle as well as Erik. If you know anything about their case, or have watched any other documentary you would agree.

This show is so inaccurate and disrespectful to not only the brothers, but many victims of sexual assault. Ryan Murphy is a seriously messed up person. If you’re thinking of watching this, don’t.

this had me jumping out of my seat, i was GAGGED!

It was a good story to tell about the Menendez brothers, but it wasn’t anywhere near as dark or as good as the first season was with Dahmer. The actors playing the brothers, phenomenal performances, but the story and how it was told felt a bit lackluster honestly. I give a 8.5/10

Phenomenal representation on what they were really like in mannerisms. Hate the title “monsters”, I feel that it is disrespectful and painting an inaccurate picture. But I think this show is so amazing. It might not be fully faithful, but it is a wonderful contribution to them.
