Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story

justice system failed these boys in 1989 and now the creators have failed them by distorting the truth to serve his own agenda
instead of claiming it to be based on a true story it should say “loosely based on a true event and heavily dramatized to feed the creators fantasies”

Ryan Murphy did a horrible job with portraying what these brothers went through. Horrible job portraying Lyle as well as Erik. If you know anything about their case, or have watched any other documentary you would agree.

This show is so inaccurate and disrespectful to not only the brothers, but many victims of sexual assault. Ryan Murphy is a seriously messed up person. If you’re thinking of watching this, don’t.

I don’t think they did an accurate portrayal of the events and instead made it really dramatic and gay
