Started strong but then really slowed down and I lost interest

7.5 Just me or does it sometimes drag on for a while. The kaiju fights are great tho. Kinda of excited for the monster teased at the end

3.5/5 - it was good, but i wish it could’ve been better - pls take this review with a grain of salt because it literally took me 2 whole years to watch the one season oops

I thought the concept was really cool, & the exploration into the early days of monarch in the 50s very interesting, but wish it had time to explore it further. For me the 50s plot deserved to be fleshed out more, instead of feeling a bit rushed through in favour of the 2015 storyline.

I found at times that the switching back & forth between different timelines a bit confusing, and just overall felt perhaps some of the plot could’ve been saved for a second season to save overloading on information. For me there wasn’t much breathing room to understand what was being established and take it all in.

The ambition was there, and mostly lived up to my expectations, but idk something just felt missing for me.

very good show, lovee king zilla. the sound design, color pallet, and visual effects are incredible. i do wish there were more monster screen time tho, but towards the end it made me want more. the last episode speaks for itself. a great watch overall just slow at times. 8 / 10

Bookended by fantastic episodes, the series as a whole was a letdown. I really wanted to like this, but it made the same mistakes with boring human drama and not enough monsters. The stuff in the 50s was more engaging. The Russells were perfect in their roles, though.

Great show! Absolutely worth watching, even if youre not much of a fan of Godzilla/Kong. If you are a fan this is a MUST SEE!

The storyline in the past is so good and interesting and largely well acted and then the modern day one is miserable. They are annoying and whiney and wooden and there is so much potential but it is not being harnessed

Had such an amazing concept at the beginning which fell flat in the second half of the movie.

can’t wait for season 3!!!
