Michael Jackson: An American Tragedy

Not sure what it’s supposed to be - an in-depth examination of Jackson, or a puff piece that titillates. So much was left out - the details of his addiction to pain medication; what he was drinking (it was never mentioned how much he drank, or how frequently, so to imply he was drunk in the build up to the This Is It publicity appearance has no context apart from gossip); the severity and volume of the claims of abuse - leaving me with more questions than answers from this programme. It just seemed like a publicity stunt for the new film - and a real wasted opportunity to tell the story of Jackson from a new perspective.

I started the first episode, and the way they filmed and gathered proof did sicken me, so I stopped.

main reason i'm meh is because of how the trial for mj ended when he's guilty as fuck lmaooo (i know the makers are not the jury!) so i felt unfulfilled but this covered all the events well.
