This will forever be a masterpiece 😫 I have rewatched this show so much. The comedy, is EVERYTHING and especially the bromance. Author and Merlin are such an awesome duo. If this were ever remade, it wouldn’t be the same without the wonderful cast with all the great actors.

My friend first introduced me to Merlin back in 2020, and I think it only took half of the first episode for me to become hooked on the show. For me personally I have always loved shows and movies that have magic and fantasy in them. So it came as no surprise to me that it only took half the episode for me to decide that I loved it. The first season was a lot of fun in seeing them fight a new evil while getting to know each character individually, I think my favourite character duo besides Merlin and Arthur, is Merlin and Gaius. Merlin didn’t have his father growing up so him getting to have Gaius guide him in his journey to learn and conquer magic is so important and also get making sure Merlin stays alive and doesn’t do anything stupid, which lets face it doesn’t work half the time but we can’t blame Gaius for not giving up and still trying. And then there comes my favourite duo that we get to see grow and thrive. To watch them go from hating each other to wanting nothing more than to protect each other is something I will never get tired of watching❤️ But the ending breaks my heart every time I watch it.
