Mel Brooks: The 99 Year Old Man! Reviews

Don't really have much to say on this other than it's a decent documentary. I wouldn't call myself a fan of Brooks yet, but his persona and humour have really grown on me since watching both Blazing Saddles and Spaceballs. Even more so after watching this. The runtime could have done without certain distasteful and unnecessary people. Otherwise, it was great hearing stories, both personal and public. I really do hope Brooks gets to see the success that will be Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money.

A charming Documentary on a legendary Comedy pioneer of satire and low brow humor.

This was so well done. It was amazing seeing the timeline. The fact that he had already had a career before he made one movie… the man is a genius. I love hearing his stories. His jokes. His humanity. He exudes life.

What a wonderful look at an incredible life.

Brooks is a national treasure. Still active and relevant into his 90s. This documentary is surprisingly heartfelt. And his love story with the phenomenal Anne Bancroft is wonderful.

Probably the documentary I have ever watched! I laughed a ton, I cried. This was awesome! This man’s genius made me laugh. His love for his wife, Ann Bancroft, and watching his loos and reminiscing about her made me cry. Even if you don’t think you are a Mel Brooks fan you are!
