Best Apple TV series to date. This show is the playful cousin of “Maid” on Netflix.

The cast is wonderful and the story is just as good. It is weird seeing Elle Fanning doing adult stuff, though. Haha. But she’s one of my favorite actors.

Banger show, it’s very real and these characters are just so fleshed out. Ofcourse I love Nick in every project but he’s perfect in this one. Can’t wait for newer seasons. Fyi, it’s very open and they show it all.

The season finale was quirky, sad, gut wrenching, shocking, and somehow still full of so much love. This show continues to understand that family doesn’t always look neat or traditional; sometimes it looks messy, chaotic, complicated, and still completely real. And honestly, that’s a huge part of why it works so well.

The courtroom finale packed a serious emotional punch, with all that high-stakes family tension crashing together in a way that felt both satisfying and quietly devastating. Yes, the plotting gets a little chaotic at times, but the episode still lands where it needs to because the heart of it is so strong.

After Kenny admitted to calling CPD I hope Shyanne leaves him and marches right back into her house where she belongs. Also, I’m absolutely not ready to give up on Shyanne and Jinx’s story just yet, because I refuse to believe that chapter is fully closed.

And as if the finale wasn’t already doing enough, seeing Paul McCrane pop up as the judge was such a great surprise. As an ER fan, that alone made me ridiculously happy.
Thank goodness we’re getting a second season, because this finale gave us heartbreak, hope, and just enough chaos to make me desperately want more.

I have no idea how Apple keeps affording these insane casts, but I hope they never stop. Nick Offerman is an absolute treasure, and I’ve never seen him as vulnerable as this. He absolutely anchors this already amazing cast. Definitely worth a watch

Michelle Pfeiffer is brilliant as always. Cool to see Nick Offerman & Nicole Kidman in these unique roles (does that girl ever rest?!) lol But the star is obviously Elle Fanning & wow I hope this catapults her acting career cuz she is phenomenal.

Very good series, and the art style and sets for her alter ego and all the hungry ghost stuff were done very well. I quite like the promotional art that also showed in the show of a massive alien climbing into your phones. The characters felt real with hardship and struggles.

Nick, Nicole, Elle & Michelle?!? The awesome foursome I never knew I needed in my life! Also, Susie is the best friend that ever lived, on any planet, ever. Loved this.

Overall, I really liked this series. The beginning was a bit rough for me because everything moved too slowly, but once the story found its rhythm, I got into it. The final episode especially was really strong and ended the season on a high note.
