This show is really cute but just not for me. I don’t know how to play shogi or even how to differentiate the pieces so a lot of scenes were totally lost on me. I did, however, enjoy Hina and her family a lot in this show and that’s what pretty much kept me going. This show is super slow paced and put me to sleep multiple times

I love this anime and I wish it got more seasons which the manga continues, I wanted to see the main character and the girls relationship, the art style, the slice of life, everything about this anime and the main character overcoming his fears is what makes this one special, him always spending time with that family because otherwise he would be alone, it was special.

6/10 I watched this so long ago and I remember it being interesting at first and the aspect is nice but it is a very slow paced series and I just did not enjoy it as much especially for the amount of episodes it has. I still managed to somewhat enjoy it it’s just very slow.

This was a good representation of depression I think. It was very heartwarming and wholesome.

It’s such a cute and sad show but it’s very nice to watch
