I saw a clip of this show on TikTok and knew I wanted to watch the whole thing. The entire show turned out to be way better than the clip I saw. There were so many important messages throughout the show. It was very emotional. Overall, I give it a 9.5/10!

This is a good show BUT it definitely leans away from the main plot. The “abusive bf” she’s running from turns into someone who has actually valid points to be angry and she just gaslits him to make him look abusive and it’s annoying and definitely not a good look for dv victims

Sadly predictable and consistent bad choices to continue a story full of less than believable repetitive situations. It could have been much better.

Wow I went into this knowing nothing about what to expect and goodness, this was an emotional watch. But the cast did phenomenal. The way they told this story was so raw and eye opening to the realities of DV victims. They do go back and you can honestly understand why at times, but I loved the ending!!! It makes me so happy that she got out of that town and found more for herself and her daughter. Also based on a true story?! Ugh I want to read the book now

MC was mad annoying, especially when she kept going back to her ex and not allowing herself to be with the actual good guy like tf?? Wanted to pull my hair out. All my empathy for any character just kept slipping away and now I’m left with just an annoyed feeling about this serie

This show was so good I loved to see the depth of the abuse and how it affected Alex and Maddy over the course of the show. Overall I found this show to be really amazing the character development was amazing and getting to know each character was what made this show amazing❤️❤️!!!

Trigger warning: Physical and emotional abuse. But the representation is flawless and so eye opening about such a crucially sad topic!

AMAZING! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! IT WAS JUST SO SO GOOD!!!!! Had me STRESSED at times and even made me tear up a little bit but I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!! I LITERALLY BINGED IT IN LIKE A DAY AND A HALF! (It is currently 4:36 in the morning) 10/10 WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

I loved this show so much! The acting was phenomenal, the show was so real, and could definitely hit its target audience at a personal level. This show literally brought me to tears. Everything was executed perfectly and I definitely need to rewatch because it was just that good.

This show is a very heart wrenching show, it has its ups where everything seems to be going great until everything falls apart, if you’ve ever experienced abuse of any kind o think you’d really relate to the main character

At first i was a little annoyed by the main character but this is really entertaining and very touching but more importantly eye opening about abusive people and realitonships, i like the awareness and knowledge this short series is providing

I kept getting clips of this show on my tiktok and finally decided to watch it. Maid was an amazing show about DV and I recommend it to anyone wanting a binge worthy series. The characters feel so real and Alex might be one of my favorite fictional characters in a tv show.
