Magic Maker: How to Make Magic in Another World
Rating: 6/10
A functional but generic isekai with a brilliant premise, but it's buried under a standard hero plot and forgettable production.
Highlights
- Unique Premise: A man inventing magic in a magic-less world is a refreshing twist.
- Strong Protagonist: Shion's indomitable fighting spirit and obsession with magic make him an active hero.
Criticisms
- Underdeveloped Plot: The show fumbles its unique premise, defaulting to a generic fantasy narrative.
- One-Note Characters: The supporting cast is a collection of forgettable, one-note fantasy tropes.
- Average Production: The animation is bland, and the direction feels flat and by-the-numbers.
Verdict
Magic Maker is a mediocre isekai with a great idea, but poor execution. It's watchable for completionists, but it's ultimately a massive, wasted opportunity.

Amazing Anime,
I absolutely love it when we get To know More about A shows Magic System or other powersystem, SO seeing a Magic System being created and getting to Experience/witness every step of the making is amazing.
