Combined horror, suspense, sci-fi, and mystery in one show. I believe there were issues with finding a general tone, but I think it helped see the characters from different lens. Could have easily been another season.

This show was so freaking good and I’m so mad it was canceled after 1 season because it was amazing

A very well done adaption to the book. Even the things that were changed I was okay with. Perfect cast. Wish there was another season but one tied up most loose ends well

it’s a shame it never got another season bc it was a really well-done show. great cast, great costuming, great story. how the magical world in this show coincided with america’s real & unfortunately tragic history of racism made for a really interesting story. & honestly… (1/2)

I wanted to like this so badly and I genuinely loved it up to episode 4 when a Native Two Spirit/trans/intersex character is silenced & then brutally murdered on screen. It made me DNF the show.

The first four episodes were great but the rest of it completly fell of especially the ending started well but ended up in total mess

I suspect this was canceled because it’s commentary based in truth for the black experience… it’s a shame because this show was so interesting :/

Makes me angry there is no season 2

10/10 I loved it Soo much. It was very sentimental to me. And I’m not even upset w the cliffhanger fr I think it ended perfectly

This was a really great show. I loved every second of it, and the production that went into this show gives it the right to be labeled as horror. This show had many scary moments, and at times I may not have known what’s happening, but it was entertaining throughout.

Loved the show overall. Some episodes were all over the place but other than that it was a very good show

watched the first episode twice and it just can’t hook me. i’m sure it’s good bc it ticks a lot of my aesthetic faves, but i can’t get far enough to see that

Great all the way until the last episode, which sucked. It's like they tried to cram 4 episodes into 1.

10/10; this was a masterpiece, so amazing, but so sad there was only 1 season.
