Such a letdown. Looking for Alaska was my favorite book during my teenage years. This show didn’t even get close to capturing the spirit of the whole story. It wasn’t fun enough. It wasn’t depressing enough. It just wasn’t enough.

One of my favorite John Greene books. Exactly what I pictured when reading the book in high school…. So glad it was adapted into a limited series instead of a movie… definitely watch this if you lowkey always wanted to go away to boarding school or if you just need a good cry.

Now I want to read the book. Top show

8/10 de-fucking-stroyed by this absolute god damn masterpiece. i’m not sure i will ever recover. not a winner in beautiful shots or incredible acting but i just have to put it in my loved folder because of my attachment to it
